What our stylists refuse to travel without

Summer travel season is here, and whether you're jetting off somewhere tropical, heading to the cottage, or planning a weekend road trip, one thing's for sure: your hair still deserves a little TLC.

We asked each of our stylists two simple questions before a busy summer of traveling:

1. What's one hair product from the salon you always pack?
2. What's one beauty essential you can't travel without?

Here's what made the list!

Allison

Salon must-have: Surface Blowout Gel Mousse

"This product is such an amazing product. It gives you volume and style memory and goes on like a mousse and holds like a gel. Does not make the hair feel crunchy or that you have product in your hair, just flawless hair with body and volume."

Travel essential: A blow dryer or flat iron

“I always need a blowdryer or a flat iron when traveling to keep my hair looking its best and frizz free while traveling!”

Carly

Salon must-have: Surface Curls Conditioner

“The surface curls conditioner because it’s the most hydrating, silkiest, softest product I’ve ever used on my hair that actually makes it stay feeling that way.”

Travel essential: An overnight curl set

"Overnight curl set because they are the easiest way to wake up with bouncy curls and not need heat."

Emily

Salon must-have: Surface Blowout Smoothing Balm

“It’s because it’s you don’t need too much to make it work, just a pea sized amount and you’re ready to go! A lightweight product that tames the frizz, helps with shine, feeling soft and also it has a heat protection in it so you don’t have to worry about using so many over product!”

Travel essential: BaByliss Extra Long Curling Wand

“I really love my BaByliss extra long curling wand, I can really get a curl on a really long haired client who wants a tight curl or a natural looking curl! As well as it gives a nice shine to the hair then it’s all styled! And a curl that can last all day!”

Arbnesha

Salon must-have: Surface Curls Replenish (or Oligo)

“Surface Curls leave in conditioner or Oligo-keeps the hair, smooth and shiny insure heat protection, and shape.”

Travel essential: Curling wand

"It speaks for itself.""

Natalie

Salon must-have: Innersense Refresh Dry Shampoo

“Innersense Refresh Dry Shampoo is a product that I cannot do without because it has a unique foam-to-powder formula. Since I have fine hair, it can get oily quickly so a dry shampoo is essential for my everyday hair routine. I also have dark hair, so finding a dry shampoo that doesn't leave a white cast or powdery residue has been a challenge but i finally found one.”

Travel essential: Flat iron

“Another product I use day to day is a flat iron. Having frizzy hair that has somewhat a wave but does not hold shape, a flat iron became a tool i cannot live without.”

Maryeh

Salon must-have: Kera Hydrate Leave-In Treatment Conditioner

“Kera Hydrate Leave-In Treatment Conditioner is formulated with Argan Oil and Bamboo Extracts to help restore and nourish hair without weighing it down. Enriched with collagen, it helps improve the look and feel of hair while promoting softness and manageability. The formula also provides UV protection, helping shield hair from damage caused by sun exposure and environmental stressors.”

Travel essential: Hair perfume

"A necessity when leaving the house."

Dragana

Salon must-have: Neuma Re Neu Shampoo

“I’ve been using this shampoo on and off since I’ve been working at clique . With my eczema it soothes my scalp and doesn’t irritate it plus it makes my hair feel really clean and not weighed down. Also feels hydrated when I use it after I’ve been in the pool or lake.”

Travel essential: Perfume

“I always need to have a nice smelling perfume or body spray whenever I’m travelling. I believe that scents hold memories so whenever I spray a certain scent it reminds me of a trip or a specific time in my life. I love a vanilla or coconut perfume year round but especially in the summer!”

Kiesha

Salon must-have: Neuma Neu Moisture Argan Oil

“I love this product because you can put it in wet or dry hair and it always leaves the hair feeling soft and looking shiny! Plus it also controls frizzy hair and that’s a big one for me because I always have frizzy hair except for when I’m using Argan oil!”

Travel essential: Hair perfume

“I always pack a hair perfume into my travel bag, I love a tropical scent in my hair, and I also love how hair perfumes can be made compact you can easily carry them in your purse as well!”
